Collage & Crayon: The art of colour
In our latest collection, playful florals and collaged prints tell the story of an artist’s love for Cornwall.
As the first signs of spring start to colour the landscape, we’ve been inspired by the way Mid-century Modern artists used crayon and collaged shapes to express their love of the landscape around them.
The freedom of the coast
We’ve traced the footsteps of Margaret Mellis, who was drawn to the soft light and easy freedom of Cornwall’s coast.
Mellis’ pioneering, romantic spirit spilt into the intuitive art she created. The colourful flair of her textured crayon florals and eclectic collage has inspired our latest arrivals.
We’ve captured the playful spontaneity of wildflower sketches on soft jersey dresses and bought abstract shapes to life on statement knits. Shining with springtime joy, spot the artistic influence in colourful prints and studiowear-inspired pieces.
Throughout, we’ve used more sustainable fabrics than ever before, curating a collection made to be loved for years to come.
New season knits
Organic cotton knits have been rendered in a vibrant palette that holds the joyful promise of warmer days ahead. Layer loose, relaxed jumpers and romantic, feminine cardigans into your wardrobe and style throughout the changing season.
Freshly picked florals
Wildflowers sketched by our in-house artists tumble across the drapes of jersey dresses. This month we’ve played with colour, texture and scale to give movement to joyful floral patterns.
Studiowear linen
Relaxed, tactile linen styles have been woven with stories of Cornwall’s artistic heritage. Chosen for its breathability and favoured for long days in the studio, we love wearing linen to give soft structure to casual outfits.
A moment of calm
New pyjama sets are a canvas for hand-sketched florals and pretty, painted prints that capture the calm of the coast. Explore soft, breathable cotton sets, shirts and dresses made for peaceful nights and slow, easy mornings.
